The Pink Place, incorporating The Blue Space, has been named as the Lavazza Professional lead charity for 2024; an organisation that provides wellbeing support to those diagnosed with cancer in and around North Hampshire. Through a number of initiatives, fundraisers and events, we are dedicated to supporting this important cause throughout the year.

As of June 2024, a FLAVIA C600 now has a permanent residency at The Pink Place, providing free tea, coffee and hot chocolate to guests and their families who visit for cancer wellbeing support groups, workshops, complementary therapies and counselling sessions.

Thanks to Lavazza Professional’s generosity in supplying their refreshments for free, we can provide a friendly, relaxed, and supportive environment for the increasing number of local people affected by cancer who desperately need our range of wellbeing and holistic services.” – Christine, Events Manager at The Pink Place.

Not only do we hope to provide some comfort through the use of the FLAVIA machine, but we are also committed to fundraising as much as we can over the next few months.

Steve, Lavazza Professional’s Recruitment Co-Ordinator, will be taking on the charity skydive in September with the aim to raise £600! Plus, associates from the business will be taking part and sponsoring a charity golf day, with even more associates fundraising for The Pink Place to run the Basingstoke Half Marathon and 10k.

Associates, customers and beyond are invited to follow The Pink Place and Lavazza Professional along this fundraising journey. To find out more about the amazing things that The Pink Place do for people living with cancer, or to donate to Steve’s skydive, follow the links below:
